Successful Initial Issue of the Helvetica Swiss Living Fund

Press release HSL Fund

Zürich, 13 November 2019 – The Fund Management company Helvetica announces that the first issue of Helvetica Swiss Living (HSL Fund) has been successfully closed. The issue proceeds for the HSL Fund amount to approximately CHF 42.4 million. The equity will be invested promptly after payment and generate income in full.

The capital increase carried out for the HSL Fund from 9 October to 1 November 2019 met with strong investor interest. Thus 423,715 shares were subscribed. The HSL Fund received equity proceeds of around CHF 42.4 million from the initial issue. The new shares were paid on 6 November 2019. In line with the investment strategy of the HSL Fund, the proceeds from the issue will be invested in two secured initial portfolios of residential properties in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.

Michael Müller, designated CEO, says: «The high demand for our newly launched fund and the successful raising of the corresponding capital show that indirect real estate investments - especially for institutional investors - remain attractive. And it is a sign of investors' strong confidence in Helvetica Property.»

«We are convinced that with our hands-on approach we will be in a good position to increase the longterm value of these two portfolios», adds Hans R. Holdener, CEO and Managing Partner.

The HSL Fund invests in residential properties throughout Switzerland, with a clear focus where both regional and national economic centres are easily accessible and a positive population development is expected. The investment focus of the HSL Fund is on older and new properties as well as properties in need of maintenance and repair, which have the potential to increase in value through active Asset Management and the reduction of vacancies. The fund also focuses on locations that are easy to let and have good public and private transport connections.
