Two decades of sound real estate expertise

  • Founded in Oslo in 2006 to meet growing demand from Norwegian investors for Swiss real estate opportunities.
  • Entered the Swiss market in 2007 with a local team in Zurich, and launched the first real estate fund for Norwegian private investors.
  • Successfully exited the first fund in 2014 and launched a second vehicle in partnership with Partners Group.
  • Transition to a FINMA-regulated fund management company in 2016 and launch of the third fund, the Helvetica Swiss Commercial Fund (HSC Fund), which focuses on commercial real estate for institutional investors in Switzerland.
  • Listed HSC Fund on SIX Swiss Exchange in 2019.
  • Expanded the platform for Swiss institutional investors in 2020 and launched the fourth and fifth funds, the Helvetica Swiss Living Fund (HSL Fund) and Helvetica Swiss Opportunity Fund (HSO Fund) with a focus on residential and commercial real estate.
  • In 2022, the product offering was broadened with the launch of the Helvetica Life Investment Foundation, targeting Swiss pension funds.
  • At the beginning of 2024, founder Hans R. Holdener stepped down as CEO, initiating a new phase of institutional leadership.
  • In 2025, listing of HSL Fund and HSO Fund on SIX Swiss Exchange, followed by the successful merger of the HSO Fund with the HSC Fund.
