Zurich, 3 November 2020 – The Helvetica Swiss Opportunity Fund (HSO Fund) successfully completed the capital increase with proceeds of CHF 26.9 million.

The capital increase for the Helvetica Swiss Opportunity Fund (HSO Fund; ISIN CH0434725054) carried out between 19 and 29 October 2020 was fully subscribed and successfully completed with issue proceeds of CHF 26.9 million. A total of 250,000 new shares were issued at an issue price of CHF 107.50 net per share. The number of shares in circulation after the capital increase amounts to 750,000 shares. The payment of the new shares takes place on
3 November 2020.

The capital increase was carried out on a commission basis (best effort basis) as part of a subscription offer in Switzerland, with a subscription ratio of 2:1. During the subscription period, no official trading of subscription rights took place. The shares of the HSO Fund are traded over-the-counter by Bank J. Safra Sarasin AG.

Attractive central property
The cash inflow from the capital increase will enable the acquisition of a very centrally located property in the French-speaking part of Switzerland valued at about CHF 42 million. The property, which has over 10,500 square meters of rental space and will be acquired in partial ownership, has its own spacious underground car parking and is leased on a long-term basis to a tenant with a good credit rating, who is very established in the area. The purchase agreement has already been notarized, and the transfer of ownership will take place in December 2020.

Michael Müller, CEO, says: "We are very pleased with the high demand from investors for our capital increase. The inflowing funds will enable us to acquire a centrally located property in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, which offers upside potential in the valuation and will substantially contribute to an attractive distribution of profits for our investors. With this acquisition, we increase both the geographical diversification and the earnings potential of the HSO Fund".
