Helvetica buys office and retail property in Dietikon from Pestalozzi + Co AG

In October 2009, Pestalozzi + Co AG, Dietikon, sells the "Pestalozzihaus" on Riedstrasse 1, Dietikon, which is no longer required for operations, to Helvetica as an extension to the existing portfolio. The fund is thus adding another property in a prime location to its portfolio. Pestalozzi is concluding a long-term lease agreement, meaning that its office workplaces will remain at this location. The sale of properties not required for operational purposes is in line with a strategy that has been pursued for some time and increases the scope for acquisitions.

The property is located in Zurich-Dietikon, at the gateway to the Silbern area, which is known as one of the largest shopping areas in the Zurich area. Well-known retailers such as Media Markt, Coop Megastore, Möbel Märki, Lipo Möbel, Office World, Esprit and many more are located in the immediate vicinity of the commercial building.

Helvetica considers the Dietikon location to be extremely exciting and is convinced that the property has attractive future potential as part of the further development of the Silver area.
