Expansion of Product Range
  • All three Helvetica real estate funds outperform the SXI Real Estate Funds Broad Index.
  • The OAK gives the green light for the establishment of the Helvetica Life Investment Foundation.
2021
Established in the market

In the current anniversary year the conclusive result of the financial year 2020 becomes available. It shows that our 3 funds achieve leading positions in terms of investment and distribution returns within the industry.

In addition, the Partners Group mandate launched in 2014 with a fund volume of CHF 330 million is successfully liquidated.

2020
Fit for growth

Due to our accelerated growth, we are moving to larger office spaces in the heart of Zurich. Our brand gets a new look: the visual identity reflects the progressive development of our company and culture.

2019
IPO

The Helvetica Swiss Commercial Fund is successfully listed on the Swiss stock exchange with a total volume of almost CHF 700 million. It is considered the best commercial fund of the year within the industry.

We are capitalizing on the momentum by launching two additional funds: the Helvetica Swiss Living Fund investing in residential real estate and the Helvetica Swiss Opportunity Fund focusing on investments in logistics and special properties.

2016
FINMA approved

In our 10th anniversary year, we receive the green light from FINMA as a fund management company. The Helvetica Swiss Commercial Fund is approved and successfully launched in the market.

2015
Growth strategy

The Board of Directors decides to institutionalize the investment platform. The regulation as a fund management company by FINMA is sought as well as the issuance of a first real estate fund under Swiss law.

2014
Collaboration with Partners Group

The sale of the first real estate fund at a net profit of 30% - despite the financial crisis - takes place.
The second fund is launched as a joint venture with Partners Group. The capital raise of CHF 100 million to build up the portfolio of CHF 350 million is successfully carried out.

2010
Best fund

Our first fund outperforms comparable funds in Norway and is named best fund by Norway's largest financial newspaper.

2007
Launch of first real estate fund

The launch of our first real estate fund in Switzerland takes place. It is aimed at Norwegian investors and successfully raised CHF 145 mio in capital within a very short period.

Helvetica Property Investors AG is founded in Switzerland where the business activities are being transferred to.

2006
Foundation in Oslo

Hans R. Holdener and Thomas C. Holst notice an extraordinarily high demand for foreign real estate investments among Norwegian investors. Consequently, they decide to found Helvetica Property Investors in Oslo.

Already back then, the "hands-on" approach was at the center of our activities. When we founded the company, our vision was to establish ourselves in the market as an independent real estate investment manager, managed with passion, integrity and responsibility.
