The beginning: 2006

The history of our brand started in 2006 with our first logo, created by the Norwegian designer Mikkel Lehne. It was meant to be a conservative image that reflected both Swiss values and real estate. Red was of course the obvious colour.

The founders’ search for a suitable name for the new company took many months and ended in a typical Swiss compromise: “Helvetica Property”. Helvetica means “Switzerland” in Latin, while “Property” clearly describes the business segment. From the very beginning, the name Helvetica was also intended to symbolize the strengths and values to which we felt committed and which have not changed to this day.

The brand gains visibility

For many years, our brand was illustrated through a very simple corporate design, consisting mainly of the logo. But as our firm grew, from 2016 on, we professionalized our communications, adding new design elements and increasing our marketing activities, which has led to a high level of brand awareness throughout Switzerland. Our logo and distinctive icons have become our unique trademark. And this originality, together with increased brand recognition, has certainly helped us to expand our reach and visibility.

2020: Our brand, like our firm, is maturing

With the launch of our new identity in 2020, the Helvetica brand has taken a big step forward visually. Although much has changed in recent years, we remain true to our core values of passion, integrity and responsibility, now symbolized in the 3 bars of our logo. Their upward movement and their 3-dimensional effect symbolize both growth and stability. The new identity with its unique key visuals is also an expression of our entrepreneurial spirit and our striving for excellence in all activities. Even as we embrace change, our motto “Passion for Real” will remain and is featured prominently in the new corporate design. It perfectly sums up the origin of our professionalism.
