Helvetica is a Corporate Sponsor of the Melbourne Cup Carnival
The showcase of the 2006 sponsorship event for Helvetica was the Victoria Derby Day Race, The Helvetica Stakes, (1400m Handicap) for which Helvetica was Naming Rights Sponsor.
In addition the Post Race Trophy presentation interview was given by Sir Charles Masefield, Chairman, of Helvetica.
