Juan Zavalía

Prior to joining Helvetica, Juan worked at Merrill Lynch & Co. in the Institutional and Corporate Client Group based out of New York and then at Barclays Capital's Energy Group, also based in New York.
Juan has extensive execution experience in M&A, Corporate Finance and Capital Market transactions having completed 16 transactions throughout the Americas, and a wide knowledge of the Energy industry, having completed 9 transactions in that sector.
Before moving to New York, Juan worked at Banco Frances in Buenos Aires, one of the largest privately held banks in Argentina, which at the time was managed and owned by his family before selling in 1998 to BBVA.
Juan grew up in Switzerland, studied Economics at Queen Mary and Westfield in London and has lived and worked in New York before returning to Switzerland to join Helvetica.
Juan focuses on HNW and Institutional clients on both the investment side and on cross border opportunities between Latin America and the GCC region.
